Even on the dreariest winter day, you can’t miss the bright butterflies and giant sun shining down from the corner of The Square and Montreal Street. The wall is truly a Goderich-inspired masterpiece representing the beautiful sunsets over Lake Huron and the annual monarch migration.

 

The bold mural is the brainchild of Clare Sunderland, owner of the Yoga Den and the Den Juice Co. and the artist is Tova Hasiwar, a recent arrival in Huron County and owner of Tovally Vintage.

 

After meeting and forming a friendship, the two decided to bring their various ventures into a single building at 68 Courthouse Square. Tova was seeking a larger space for increasing retail inventory at about the same time that Clare needed an alternative for her yoga classes due to the physical distancing requirements of the COVID-19 pandemic while also ramping up her organic, cold-pressed juice business.

 

Now the yoga classes are taking place at a local martial arts centre and the retail space has transformed into a sip-and-shop destination. You can browse through the eclectic collection of streetwear from the 1960s to the 1990s while enjoying a coffee and grabbing some cold pressed juice to go! Tova has been collecting vintage clothes for many years and loves the big fashion statements of the 1980s and 1990s. She specializes in streetwear, but also loves to carry some dressy options. The three businesses each have their own social media presence, showing off their unique contribution to the physical storefront.
