Masse Fruit & Vegetables
What could be better than a fall drive to collect your pumpkins, squash and apples directly from the grower? Visiting Masse Fruit & Vegetables near Zurich is a long-standing tradition for many Huron County residents because of its extensive selection of fruits and vegetables. Its popularity in the fall is due to the pumpkin patch, fall decorations and the everbearing variety of strawberries (Masse keeps them fresh-picked long after the other growers are done for the season). It often has fresh strawberries right through to the end of market season.
This market has wagons full of pumpkins and unique squash varieties, so you are guaranteed to find the perfect ensemble to make your porch the envy of the neighbourhood.
Masse also grows sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, beans, peas, squash, pumpkins and assorted fall decorations. The market carries other locally-produced items and baked goods. It is open from mid-June to Nov. 1 each year from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
The market is located at 35291 Zurich-Hensall Rd, Zurich. Find them on Facebook to keep up with the harvest!
