Bayfield Sunday Market

By Nancy Fisher

Bayfield Sunday Market is going to be the place to be this summer. Beginning May 22 on the Victoria Day weekend and continuing every Sunday until Labour Day, a wide variety of vendors will be found at the Bayfield Fairgrounds at 5 Jane Street.

Re-energized after a two year wait due to the pandemic, the organizers and vendors are excited to offer customers a fun-filled experience under the sun. There will be a great selection of vendors with new and used items, fruits and vegetables, household goods and some cool things you just may have never seen before. Partnering with the Bayfield Agriculture society, the focus will be on supporting local growers and makers who are the backbone of Huron County.

To make it a fun experience for everyone, the organizers are planning for both musical entertainment and an opportunity for cultural and educational presentations on the open stage. With enough interest, there is the possibility of some sporting events as well.

Everyone loves a good food truck or food vendor so come prepared to try something delicious to eat there or take home. Lots of choices for the whole family and a great way to spend a Sunday.

Check out the facebook page - Bayfield Sunday Market  for frequent updates and information for vendors as new ones are being added all the time.
